Laboratory of Advanced Nanomaterials, WHU

Prof. Lei Fu received his B.S. degree in chemistry from Wuhan University in 2001. He obtained his Ph.D. degree from Institute of Chemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2006. After obtaining his Ph. D, he worked as a Director’s Postdoctoral Fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), USA (2006-2007). In the end of 2007, he became an associate professor of Peking University in Center for Nanochemistry. In 2012, he joined Wuhan University as a full professor in College of Chemistry and Molecular Science. His research interests cover two-dimensional materials and flexible devices. Until now, he has published 80+ papers. He was one secretary of the Chinese Society Electochemistry (2008~2011) and received the 2012 Young Chemist Award of Chinese Chemistry Society.

To find a reasonable way for CVD growth of high-quality 2D materials (eg. graphene, TMDs and various heterostructures) and to develop high-performance flexible devices and energy devices.
